Looking for DVD player for Vista, with variable speed!?

The DVD player included with Vista does include variable speed but on my PC, this results in no sound, unless I play the DVD at normal speed. Do you know of a either freeware or cheap DVD player that will work on Vista and allow DVD to be played with sound at variable speed?
